The Faraday Museum of Technology makes a unique venue for your child’s birthday party. There is so much to see and do for children and lots for the grownups to enjoy as well! Learn more about our party options below.
Choose from one of the five themes below, or we can customize one to suit your child’s interest.
What's Included: Your own dedicated party space, entrance to the museum, party facilitator and all materials needed to create an item to take home.
Cost: $30 per child (includes entrance to museum, Faraday staff member for teaching activity, all materials needed for their take home project)
Minimum Number: 8 children. Children must be supervised by parent/caregiver at all times (1:5 ratio of adults to children).
Maximum Number: 30 children
Duration: Two hours, during opening days/times
Suited to ages 5-12 years.
Learn all about Samuel Morse and use a special Morse code to create your own canvas art piece, and bracelet or key ring/bag tag.
Learn all about how clothes were sewn in the olden days and, using a basic pattern, learn to sew a cute little friend to sit on your bed.
Learn all about robots, including our very own Andee the robot, as well as Nicola Tesla. Have fun making your own robot using wood and all other recycled bits and pieces.
Learn all about woodworking from years gone by and the tools that were used. Create a fun art piece to take home using wood, nails, hammers and string.
Learn all about the different machines at the museum, and how they work. Use the principles behind Faraday’s electromagnetism to make a fun battery spinner.

Discover the wonderful machines and gadgets of The Faraday Centre at your leisure. You will also have use of the outside picnic table so you can bring your own party treats and snacks to enjoy.
Minimum Number: 10 children/adults
Children must be supervised by parent/caregiver at all times (1:5 ratio of adults to children).
Hire the special children’s activity area upstairs on our mezzanine level, or our Inventors Room downstairs which is ideal for larger bookings.
Cost: $50 per hour, $80 for two hours (this includes set up and pack down time)
