Have a read through some of the great comments visitors to the Faraday Centre have left.
Amazing! Kids loved it, supercool!
Georgina - Wellington
I liked everything but the robot was a bit scary. I especially liked the levers, pulleys, phones and electricity, and the polyphon.
Zona (aged 9) - Hawke's Bay
Really fun place, fantastic that you are able to touch everything and make it work. Great that is so interactive. Was weird, in a good way, to see stuff from my childhood that I had forgotten about. Very enjoyable visit.
Simone and Vince - Auckland
It was a very fun visit. I had an opportunity to play with a lot of machines and the staff were very friendly. The perfect activity for a rainy day.
Sebastien - Switzerland

So unusual and remarkable to be able to look and interact with exhibits. Something for adults and kids, very pleasant knowledgeable volunteers.
Rose and Gary - Northland
Fantastic place. We really enjoyed our visit, so much to see and enjoy. Well maintained and so informative. Friendly volunteers that were so helpful.
Adrienne - Hastings
Absolutely amazing place for all ages. Thank you to the wonderful volunteers for allowing us to the centre for our holiday programme. A great place for appreciating history and why technology is the way it is now.
Little Magpies Out Of School Care
Great interactive displays - clear explanations, fun items to use. Loved seeing the children wander through, able to touch everything. I could have spent hours on the player piano.
Sandra - San Diego, U.S.A.
We love this place especially the air messenger. We hope to come back soon!
Levi and Julie
A very interesting and informative compilation of technological history. It brings back memories of my parents' early days. All the children were enthralled at the exhibits and loved how they interacted with the "old' technology. A "MUST SEE" for everyone.
Patrick - Canada
Magnificent collection and a most interesting generating set. You must visit and see the collection.
Chris - England
Absolutely brilliant! I was amazed at the items I remembered as a child. Will bring my grandchildren for a visit from Wellington. Wonderful - it's all hands on.
Linda W - Wellington
Such an informative and engaging museum! The variety of hands-on experiences bring me to the fascinating old days! Definitely worth visiting for people of all ages.
Shigi - China
I'm so glad we came, what an amazing facility you have here. Next time we'll leave our children and bring our grandparents so they can tell us some stories! Thank you so much.
We held my son's 7th birthday at the Faraday Centre. We had an incredible day and the staff have all been friendly and helpful from my initial enquiry through to the birthday itself. A real hidden gem in Napier. Will be spreading the word. Thanks for making my son's birthday extra special :)
